![]() The grotesque forms of twisted monsters and the perversion of Spanish Catholicism, seemingly drafting a world of dark fantasy from a wealth of historical evil delighted thousands enough to back the game through crowdsource funding. What a waste of my f.uck.When the first trailer for Blasphemous dropped it felt like an electric shot rang throughout the indie gaming scene. That's what I did, and that's all there was to it by their own words, but no. I went by exactly what Game Kitchen themselves said: "Start a new game and find this new area BEFORE fighting Edras". I didn't do any post-game scouting or anything beforehand. You shouldn't have to do that! I went in dry. If you need to constantly make backups in case you permanently lock yourself out right at the end, that just shows how piss-poor the new design choices are. I've seen people saying they were making backups of their saves "just in case". That would make us turn around and finish everything we need to before going on. Should you traverse any farther, be warned that there is no going back". If you're going to do something so extreme out of nowhere with no warning, if you choose to do the Eventide story branch, at least have someone like Deogracias at the top of the elevator and warn you. I've just spent DAYS playing a WHOLE NEW GAME (this is the third time) and then I get locked out LAST MINUTE by something you never warned anyone about? Who in the hell thought of that bright idea? She's still around, crying on that grave! Just have her come back and face me again!Ībsolutely idiotic design choice. Game Kitchen, this is f.uck.ing bullsh!t. NOW I FIND OUT THAT YOU ALSO CAN'T BEAT CRISANTA, AND IF YOU DO THEN YOU'RE LOCKED OUT OF THE NEW ENDING! ![]() I got up to the final save point before the final boss, then went back and finished everything off, including the new bosses and got both gold eyes. If you die Crisanta will just keep bringing you back with full life and bile jars so don't worry. Beat Escribar as normal, there will be a phase 3. You have to then go to all the confessor shrines and break them/descend into them with a Weight of True guilt bead exactly the same as ending A and get a Cvstodia of Sin. After, go back to the Church where you got the key. Beat Crisanta, she has a much tougher phase 2, if you fail you have to redo phase one again. (have to have equipped for Crisanta, but once its in you cant change it). Equip this into your sword and carry on the story as normal. Give eyes to NPC in the library, you get a special sword heart. Save point is almost a room directly below the boss, boss is up high. One eye is from a boss in the new area, go the the far east of the map and take a lift down then head west to get to the boss (Snake) take eye. One eye is from a boss in the Ossuary, once you have enough bones collected, the door at the back will open.i had maybe 1/2 or 3/4 it wasn't all of them. He opens a new doorway, speak to the new NPC that wants their eyes back. He gives you a key, go to the Library of Negated words to talk to the key keeper, you will have to shut that ghost up before he will talk about the key. Go to the Church above where you start the game. She will give an item to show him, he will decide not to fight you when you do meet him on the bridge. Locate The Resting Place of the Sister ( ), in Echoes of Salt BEFORE you meet Esdras on the bridge (before you cross the bridge and meet him after the 1st 3 bosses). If you follow the guide as i have written it there will be no issues. Also, do not beat Crisanta without having the new sword heart equipped. I will try to keep it brief, you will have to search a little yourself. ![]() A save file past Esdras won't work if you want to see all the content, just ascend that file you are playing on, to start from the beginning. Firstly, to experience all the content you will need to play a brand new ascended NG+ or NG to have access to everything.
